I have nothing current to post and I don't know what made me think of this one. I took it about four years ago. It was in a shed in my parent's back yard, about a year after Dad died and while Mom was still living there.
It feels like I've taken a step back into someones past. Old work-worn hands spinning the wheel. I like this photo Dick, thanks for finding this one to share! :)
Organic Mum - I'm glad you like the photo. And yes, I did have a good "day." It was late afternoon here when I got your comment, but since I work nights it was really more like morning - if that makes sense. Anyway - thank you!
Gnightgirl - Maybe reading that story you heard about your dad while you were at a restaurant with your mom is what triggered my remembering this photo. I'm glad you like it.
Spider Walk - I like that - Old days, New webs. I thought you would probably like the web in the picture :-)

Have a great day!
I "clicked to enlarge" this one and poured over it. Several times. Very moving.
Intense picture you captured there, Dick.
Totally fitting with the time and place you were paying a visit to your moms house.
If I had to sum it up in a sentence I would say "Days of old, webs of new"
But I am very much partial to "new" webs.
:)
Was your dad a carpenter?
